The Ship Inn is a traditional English pub situated in the heart of East Grinstead. Surrounded by the beautiful countryside of West Sussex, the Youngs owned pub has been ideally located for families and the community for many years.
At the beginning of 2022, we were delighted to be invited to help Youngs with their comprehensive interior and exterior refurbishment project. We were asked to supply the brass stair nosing for all their interior staircases.
Each of the stairways were made in a traditional design, with feature spindles and a dark wood stain, so we needed to ensure the brass stair nosing we supplied was made to enhance these wonderful features.
Following our detailed discussions with the client, it was decided that the ideal brass stair nosing for this project would be the BN2-SLR in Antique Brass finish, which was supplied pre-drilled with matching Antique Brass screws.
Once we had received the accurate measurements and total number of the stair nosing needed, we began the manufacturing process, ensuring that our participation in the project would be delivered both on time and to budget.
Throughout our work with the client, we maintained close communications with them to ensure that everyone was up-to-date with the manufacturing and delivery times.
Once the installation had taken place, we were pleased to hear that our client was delighted with their brass stair nosing and that the finish was the perfect match for the interior design theme.
